Karen and I picked up a new (used) Class C Motorhome

We traveled to Sisters, Oregon on Saturday 28, 2009 to arrive at the home of Mark and Terri Mills, where we purchased their 1982 Coachmen 22 foot motorhome. They were both very nice and helpful with the transaction. Many thanks!

While owning it Terri had painted all the interior cabinets and Mark took at the old carpet and placed down new laminate flooring.

Mark also made a custom frame at the rear of the inside of the coach to support a custom built queen size (close to that size) mattress.

He also added a air bag suspension to each side of the rear suspension to better help on ride support. Much has been done like a new wall mounted space heater, a new stereo system with rear speakers, new microwave added above the vent for the gas oven and 4 burner stove

also a new awning for outside, new tires, a new 4 barrel carborator with electric choke, new coach battery, new vent covers, new roof top storage box, and so much more. The RV has a full size refrigerator / freezer, roof top AC system, a furnace heater with thermostat, full bathroom with shower, dining area that is a booth which has a large window to look out there, over head sleeping for two above the cabin, plenty of storage, water tanks, sewage holding tanks, while the driver has cruise control, a CB radio, a very nice stereo CD with added door speakers, cabin AC and heat, and defrost, and cup holders. What more do you need? What I do need it also has, a tow hitch that Mark had welded to the frame! Now taking the boat out with us will be no problem and yes I can back up a 22' long RV to launch, LOL. The big window in the back of coach helps as does the side mirrors.

If we ever go dry camping (no hook ups for power) we have a Onan 4.0 Generator for back up!

It handled great on the ride back home to Meridian, Idaho. Along the way home I saw an American Bald Eagle perched upon a telephone pole along highway 20.

We are looking forward to taking it out for weekend get aways to near by state parks, and eventually to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons!
